Join Date Sep Posts 2, They are purple because once upon a time, they were the equivalent of crafting shards sapphire shard, ruby shard, etc. Each special recipe used a different trophy as the special ingredient.

Eventually they unified the special ingredients as shards, but left the original trophy there for those who had the old recipe lying around. Now the old recipes are gone, but the trophies still drop. It is common for changes in task items to not be mentioned in the game update notices, so it takes someone noticing it before I know to revise it, and then I have to do some experimenting and testing to find the new values. I'll put it on my to-do list. Update: Fortunately, between the 3 servers that I have characters on, I have alts at both 35 and 34, so I was able to verify that the Forochel tasks are available at 35 and not I've updated the values for the next release.
